Denise graduated with a B.Sc Architecture and Sustainable Design (2018), and M.Arch from Singapore University of Technology and Design [SUTD] (2019).
She has international experience with projects based in Singapore, Hong Kong and Spain, spanning hospitality, exhibition design and Participatory Action Research. With an interest in applied research, she has honed her research skills as Senior Research Assistant for the Social Urban Research Groupe at SUTD. She was involved in the New Urban Kampung Research Programme, in collaboration with Singapore’s Housing & Development Board (HDB) and Ministry of National Development (MND) to leverage behavioral-mapping, data analytics, place-making and smart technology to boost construction productivity and strengthen community resilience. She was also the recipient of the ‘Best Paper Award’ at the International Forum for Urbanism in 2020, published in the Netherlands, contributing to the framework development for sustainable programmes in public housing estates in Singapore.
Denise is an Architectural Designer at Jason Pomeroy Architects and collaborates closely together with Pomeroy Studio’s interdisciplinary team on design and research projects and initiatives; in the fields of urban mobility [eVTOL], modular construction, and resilient cities.
